Directions Pillarbox Red is about as red as you can go, This awesome colour looks best on bleached hair, but can add a great tint on light to medium natural hair shades.

Pillarbox Red even looks great when it’s fading, going to a pinkish colour rather than an orange like Vermillion Red.

Description

Directions dyes are long lasting, rich dyes that work well on most hair types.

To to get the best results from Directions Pillarbox Red we reccomend that you apply it to bleached or pre lightened hair. Directions dye can also be used to achieve a tint to untreated hair . Semi-permanent hair dyes usually last between 4 and 8 washes, this will depend on your hair type.

Quick Instructions:

Wash or wet your hair and pat dry
Apply Directions dye to your hair, spreading evenly with a tint brush or comb through
Allow to develop for around 15 - 30 mins
Rinse out the dye until the water starts to run clear

Alway carry out a patch test on your skin first to make sure that Directions dye is suitable for you. We also suggest that you wear gloves and old clothes as directions dye can stain.

Just keep coming back to this web site as the prices work out so cheap if you buy 4+ at a time which I always do. Big fan of directions hair colours, cheap as chips as last a good while too. I also use poppy, fire and plum :)
Pillar box is a proper red red, not as bright as fire which I feel has slight orange undertones and poppy is quite pink when it fades. Put this on really pale blonde/white hair and the result is awesome!!

i used pillarbox red directions colour and it worked brilliantly on my hair, considering my hair was black before.. it went a lovely bright red and it got me kicked out of school! i tend to mix directions hair dye together, should try it if you like to be different :)

Doesn't go on as easy as Crazy Colour	February 5, 2012

I wasn't sure what I was going to like best, Directions or Crazy colour and for me Directions just wasn't as good. I had to use two tubs in contrast to one bottle of crazy colour as it just didn't seem to cover as well. The colour itself is a really nice red but I found that the extra hassle putting the colour on really put me off Directions. Which is a shame as they have a nice colour range.
