Directions lavender is only recommended for very light bleached hair, if your hair retains any colour after bleaching then you should use a darker shade or pre treat with directions white toner.

Directions dyes are long lasting, rich dyes that work well on most hair types.

To to get the best results from Directions lavender dye we reccomend that you apply it to bleached or pre lightened hair. Directions dye can also be used to achieve a tint to untreated hair . Semi-permanent hair dyes usually last between 4 and 8 washes, this will depend on your hair type.

Quick Instructions:

Wash or wet your hair and pat dry
Apply Directions dye to your hair, spreading evenly with a tint brush or comb through
Allow to develop for around 15 - 30 mins
Rinse out the dye until the water starts to run clear

Always carry out a patch test on your skin first to make sure that Directions dye is suitable for you. We also suggest that you wear gloves and old clothes as directions dye can stain.

I dilute this with some conditioner to make it more of a pastel shade. It fades through a more pinky shade. In fact, I like it more after a wash or two. Mine fades quickly (lasts about two weeks) but I imagine the in diluted would last longer. Even when I want a change, I use the lavender as a base, then add violet, carnation pink or neon blue to alter the colour a little. Love it!

I have been using this since 2012. I dilute down with conditioner to give a more pastel/less vibrant look. I'm naturally blonde but have had my hair lightened a shade. It takes well (but I leave for double the suggested time) and fades through pinks. Love it! I use it as my base and add a tiny bit of violet or carnation pink to have a change. Never had so many compliments.
